Sen. Ossoff Delivering Funding for Robins AFB National Security Upgrades

Macon, Ga. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering federal resources to upgrade national security infrastructure on Robins AFB.

The funding comes after Sen. Ossoff passed into law his Robins Air Force Base Battle Management Enhancement Act through the FY24 National Defense Authorization Act, which authorized construction of a Battle Management Combined Operations Complex at Robins AFB.

Now, the funding will go toward construction of the project, strengthening the Air Force’s national defense strategy and capabilities.

Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to deliver $50 million for the project through this year’s bipartisan government funding package.

“The team protecting our nation at Robins Air Force Base needs continued support for their heroic efforts. Following passage of my Robins Air Force Base Battle Management Enhancement Act, I brought Republicans and Democrats together to fund this vitally important project, which is crucial to our national security,” Sen. Ossoff said.
