Sen. Ossoff, French Ambassador Meet on Russian Aggression in Ukraine

Washington, D.C. — Last week, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff met with Ambassador of France to the United States Philippe Étienne regarding the crisis of Russian military aggression in Ukraine.

Sen. Ossoff and Ambassador Étienne affirmed shared commitments to NATO’s mutual defense.

They also discussed efforts to strengthen transatlantic alliances and cooperation, policies to counter the global threat of nuclear proliferation, as well as bilateral security and counterterrorism cooperation.

Sen. Ossoff and Ambassador Étienne expressed their shared desire to work together to deepen cooperation between the United States and France.
