Sens. Ossoff, Rev. Warnock Deliver Upgrades for Johns Creek’s Bridges and Sidewalks

In January, Sen. Ossoff urged the Trump Administration to support Johns Creek’s infrastructure project

Johns Creek, Ga. — U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff today announced Federal resources to upgrade bridges and sidewalks in Johns Creek.

Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock are delivering a $12.8 million investment through the bipartisan infrastructure law’s Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant program to help Johns Creek replace two bridges, build new sidewalks and a multi-use trail, and upgrade drainage systems on Old Alabama Road over the Chattahoochee Tributary.

“Johns Creek residents deserve safe bridges and sidewalks, and I am pleased to deliver the funds for these vital quality of life upgrades,” said Sen. Ossoff. “It has been a pleasure working with Johns Creek leadership to get this done.”

“Smart investments in our communities can bridge any political divide. This infrastructure funding will revitalize key bridges in the Johns Creek community and continue to keep our friends, families, and neighbors connected. I am proud to have worked with Senator Ossoff to get it done and will continue to champion federal investments in Georgia,” said Senator Reverend Warnock.

“This grant will help us improve safety and connectivity in the City and will benefit quality of life for our community,” said John Bradberry, Mayor of Johns Creek. “I’m grateful to our Georgia Congressional leaders for their support of our selection.  Projects like this one help make Johns Creek one of the best places to live in the nation.”

Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock continue delivering resources to upgrade Georgia’s infrastructure.

In May, Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock delivered more than $13 million in Federal funding from the bipartisan infrastructure law to upgrade and help maintain Georgia’s regional airports.

Last July, Sen. Ossoff delivered $6.2 million through the bipartisan infrastructure law to help revitalize Villanow Street in downtown LaFayette.
