Atlanta, Ga. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering new resources to help solve crimes in Fulton County.

Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to help the Fulton County Medical Examiner identify unidentified and missing persons through forensic genetic genealogy testing.

The Federal funding will help the office identify more currently unidentified and missing persons and bring closure for families waiting for answers.

“Too many families across Georgia share the pain of waiting for answers and justice for their loved ones who have been impacted by crime,” Sen. Ossoff said. “I am pleased to deliver these resources to Fulton County to help solve these cases.”

“The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office is honored to have been awarded funding to aid our attempts to identify individuals and help bring an element of closure to their families. We thank Senator Ossoff and his staff members for their efforts and are proud to partner with the Senator’s office,” said the Medical Examiner’s Office.
