Washington D.C. — This morning, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff briefed U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on last night’s damaging storms in Bryan County, Georgia, that killed one person and injured others.

Secretary Mayorkas, who oversees the Federal Emergency Management Agency, committed to Sen. Ossoff that he would update FEMA leaders on the evolving situation.
