Middle East Resources

Senator Ossoff’s office is working to connect Georgians stuck in the Middle East with relevant State Department personnel and resources.
In addition to following the recommendations from the U.S. State Department below, Georgians who need additional assistance should also contact Senator Ossoff’s office by calling 470-786-7800.

To receive the latest security alerts from the U.S. embassy or consulate, the State Department encourages all Americans abroad to enroll in the U.S. Department of State Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)  at step.state.gov and follow them on social media at @TravelGov. Georgians can also find alerts on Travel.State.gov.

Americans in the Middle East who need to reach U.S. Department of State can call Consular Affairs 24/7 at +1-202-501-4444 (from abroad) and +1-888-407-4747 (from the United States and Canada).
