Sen. Ossoff Commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Video Message

Atlanta, Ga. –– U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In a video message, Sen. Ossoff called on Georgians to continue the work of building what Dr. King called “The Beloved Community.”

“Let us today honor and reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who provided such pivotal moral leadership to this nation in the struggle for civil rights and voting rights and in our ongoing effort to build –– what he called –– ‘The Beloved Community,’ a society where everybody is treated with compassion, and dignity, and respect, and where the human and civil rights of all are cherished and protected,” Sen. Ossoff said

“I hope this is a day of reflection, renewal, and service, and as always, it is my honor to represent the State of Georgia in the United States Senate,” Sen. Ossoff continued.
