Sen. Ossoff Delivering Resources to Support Child Victims of Abuse

Marietta, Ga. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering new resources to support child victims of abuse and trafficking.

Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to deliver updated technology for SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc. to strengthen support for child victims of abuse, trafficking, and maltreatment.

Sen. Ossoff is delivering $100,000 for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on January 23.

“Nothing matters more than the safety and wellbeing of children,” Sen. Ossoff said. “That is why I brought Republicans and Democrats together in Congress to improve services for child victims of crime and help prevent further victimization of children.”

“Thanks to Senator Jon Ossoff’s support, the funding for this technology project allows SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center to enhance our infrastructure and better protect and support children and families in Cobb County, Georgia. His commitment to strengthening vital nonprofit services makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve in our community,” said Tiffany Webb, SafePath Interim Chief Executive Officer.
