Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks a Regional Outreach Coordinator based in his Atlanta office to manage the Senator’s outreach efforts in the greater Metro Atlanta area. Primary responsibilities include representing the Senator at community events and engaging with a range of constituents and stakeholders on the Senator’s behalf. Qualified candidates will have deep knowledge of the region and should have extensive professional experience in community outreach and/or government relations. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment; have excellent interpersonal, customer relations and writing skills; and possess a strong commitment to public service. Candidates for this position should have knowledge and familiarity with diverse community groups including Latino, Asian American, and/or African American groups. To be successful, candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable working as part of a large, highly coordinated team. The position requires travel throughout the Metro Atlanta region as well as meetings and events during evenings and weekends. The starting annual salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 with eligibility for Senate benefits.
