Ossoff\u2019s Provision to Remove Lead Water Pipes from Public Schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Bill heads to President\u2019s desk to be signed into law<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Washington, D.C.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013\u2013&nbsp;The U.S. House of Representatives passed U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff\u2019s provision to repair and remove lead water pipes from public schools in Georgia and across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill now heads to President Biden\u2019s desk to be signed into law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bipartisan infrastructure package includes over $55 billion for clean water, including to replace lead pipes and lines \u2014 the largest-ever investment in clean drinking water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe passage of this historic funding will ensure Georgia children will have access to clean, healthy drinking water at school and at home,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Sen. Ossoff.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen.
