Ossoff is calling on Congress to pass the&nbsp;<em>Save Our Servicemembers Act,&nbsp;<\/em>bipartisan legislation he co-sponsored to improve suicide prevention efforts for military servicemembers in Georgia and across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m working with colleagues in both parties to make mental health services more accessible to military personnel in Georgia and nationwide,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, nearly 600 servicemembers died by suicide, according to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dspo.mil\/Portals\/113\/Documents\/CY20%20Suicide%20Report\/CY%202020%20Annual%20Suicide%20Report.pdf?ver=0OwlvDd-PJuA-igow5fBFA%3d%3d\">Department of Defense report<\/a>, representing a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/coronavirus-pandemic-health-army-lloyd-austin-aa9971be75f6a78d9b6530d6ff3d6d72\">15% increase<\/a>&nbsp;from 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen.
