Warnock Announce Over $2.2 Million to Reduce Youth Homelessness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Washington, D.C.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013\u2013 Today Georgia U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock announced more than $2.2 million to help curb youth homelessness in Atlanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding was awarded to the Atlanta Continuum of Care\/Partners for HOME, partner organizations that work together to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring in the city of Atlanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development\u2019s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program, an initiative designed to support and help communities across the United States implement programs to help prevent and end youth homelessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese Federal resources will help young people experiencing homelessness in Georgia to rebuild their lives. I\u2019ll continue working alongside Senator Reverend Warnock to help Georgians who lack housing,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Sen. Ossoff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur children, and every person, deserve to live in dignity with a roof over their head and a safe environment to call home,\u201d<strong>said Sen. Reverend Warnock<\/strong>.\u201cI am proud these Federal dollars are coming to Georgia to help curb youth homelessness.
