Vilsack committed to Sen. Ossoff that he would travel to Georgia in coming months to meet with Georgia farmers, trade leaders, and port authorities to develop plans to increase Georgia\u2019s agricultural exports.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff noted in the hearing that the Port of Savannah, one of the fastest growing ports in the country, is crucial in helping farmers export their product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/caed.uga.edu\/content\/dam\/caes-subsite\/caed\/publications\/ag-snapshots\/2021CAEDAgSnapshotsWeb.pdf\">University of Georgia<\/a>, in 2019, agriculture contributed $70.1 billion in output to Georgia\u2019s economy, supporting more than 350,000 jobs across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/DrSPbhnG6KI\"><strong>WATCH: Sen.
