Ossoff, who has long been a champion of strengthening Congressional ethics rules,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.11alive.com\/article\/news\/politics\/blind-trust\/85-a90912bf-9cb6-4485-b5cb-f314fa221e95\">pledged<\/a>&nbsp;that, if elected, he would move his stocks into a blind trust. Today he announced that he has completed that process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGeorgians deserve confidence that elected representatives are serving the people and not themselves,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cI will continue to work in the Senate to strengthen ethics rules.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/campaignlegal.org\/update\/congressional-stock-trading-during-pandemic-diminishes-public-trust\">Ethics and good governance groups<\/a>&nbsp;have pointed to blind trusts as a way to increase Americans\u2019 faith in government by ensuring Members of Congress avoid conflicts of interest and cannot trade on inside information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen.
