Ossoff and Rev. Warnock and Rep. McBath&nbsp;brought Republicans and Democrats together to help improve South Fulton&#8217;s stormwater infrastructure, including the replacement of old stormwater pipes and measures to mitigate the effect of flooding near homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock and Rep. McBath are&nbsp;delivering $1,092,000 for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on January 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBringing Republicans and Democrats together,&nbsp;we are&nbsp;delivering new resources to upgrade&nbsp;stormwater infrastructure for families in South Fulton,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cI will continue working to secure upgrades for Georgia\u2019s infrastructure to keep communities safe and upgrade quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe resilience of our communities is tied to having good stormwater and flooding infrastructure,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Senator Warnock.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cI am proud to partner with my Georgia colleagues to bring these federal funds to South Fulton to help make sure the community is well prepared for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSafe and efficient stormwater infrastructure is essential for a thriving community,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>McBath said.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cAs South Fulton continues to grow, funding was needed to repair and replace failing stormwater components.
