Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to&nbsp;support&nbsp;small&nbsp;business growth&nbsp;and development across Georgia through training programs and entrepreneurship support.&nbsp;Sen. Ossoff is delivering resources to&nbsp;small&nbsp;business training programs across the state, including in Augusta, Lawrenceville, Athens, and Jonesboro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSmall&nbsp;businesses are the backbone of Georgia\u2019s economy and our communities,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Sen. Ossoff.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThese projects&nbsp;will support their growth for years to come.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff is delivering funding for the projects through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on February 3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please find a summary of projects for which Sen. Ossoff is delivering funding below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AUGUSTA:&nbsp;GABCC&nbsp;Foundation&nbsp;<\/strong>($500,000):&nbsp;This funding will support the GABCC\u2019s Rural&nbsp;Small&nbsp;Business Impact Initiative to provide training, technical&nbsp;assistance, and programming to&nbsp;small&nbsp;businesses and entrepreneurs in rural East Georgia.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>LAWRENCEVILLE:&nbsp;Gwinnett County Public Library Foundation, Inc.<\/strong>&nbsp;($334,000):&nbsp;This funding will expand access to resources and tailored support for&nbsp;small&nbsp;businesses and entrepreneurs in Gwinnett County.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ATHENS:&nbsp;University of Georgia Research Foundation, Inc.&nbsp;<\/strong>($500,000): This funding will support&nbsp;small&nbsp;businesses&nbsp;looking to compete for Federal contracts&nbsp;with on-demand training and workshops to help grow their businesses.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ATHENS:&nbsp;Athens Regional Library System&nbsp;<\/strong>($198,000):&nbsp;This funding will provide equipment, tools, and programming to foster&nbsp;small&nbsp;business creativity and entrepreneurship in Athens-Clarke County.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>JONESBORO:\u00a0Clayton County Government\u00a0<\/strong>($1,200,000):\u00a0This funding will help construct a\u00a0small\u00a0business incubator in South Metro Atlanta to support entrepreneurship and job creation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThank you to Senator Jon Ossoff for your continued support of business owners in rural East Georgia. Through our Rural&nbsp;Small&nbsp;Business Impact Initiative in Augusta, the GABCC Foundation was awarded $500,000 to provide training, technical&nbsp;assistance, and programming to&nbsp;small&nbsp;businesses and entrepreneurs. This marks the second program you have supported for the CSRA region, and shows your commitment is creating real opportunities for our business community to grow and thrive.\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said&nbsp;R<\/strong><strong>onic<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;West, Founder, GABCC Foundation.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled with this funding. It allows us to continue and expand two of our&nbsp;highly successful&nbsp;entrepreneurship programs that empower and equip adults and teens to pursue their own business ideas. We will also use some of the money to&nbsp;purchase&nbsp;new entrepreneurial books and digital resources for our customers. Workplace development and economic opportunity are two of our main focuses at Gwinnett County Public Library. These funds will allow more individuals to achieve their dreams of starting their own business and potentially freeing them&nbsp;from dependency on government&nbsp;assistance&nbsp;or other charitable resources,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Gwinnett County Public Library Foundation Executive Director Charles Pace.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe&nbsp;Library&nbsp;is thrilled to receive this support and Federal funding from Senator Ossoff,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Beth McIntyre, Executive Director of the Athens Regional Library System.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThis partnership underscores a shared commitment to innovation, lifelong learning, and community growth.
