Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to&nbsp;help the&nbsp;Riverdale&nbsp;Police Department&nbsp;purchase&nbsp;new vehicles&nbsp;and&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;to replace their aging&nbsp;fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the City of&nbsp;Riverdale, their current fleet of police vehicles is aging and prone to mechanical issues and breakdowns, posing a significant&nbsp;risk to the safety of officers and&nbsp;harming&nbsp;the ability of City police to respond promptly to emergencies. These&nbsp;new&nbsp;vehicles will help address these concerns and allow&nbsp;City law enforcement&nbsp;to do their job safely and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff is delivering $784,000&nbsp;for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on&nbsp;January&nbsp;23.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGeorgians deserves to feel safe in their communities,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen.
