Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to&nbsp;help the City of&nbsp;Millen&nbsp;install&nbsp;and connect an elevated water tank to the City\u2019s&nbsp;water system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local leaders, the&nbsp;elevated water tank will&nbsp;help&nbsp;connect the city\u2019s water system to a new industrial development park,&nbsp;supporting economic development in Jenkins County.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current well was built in the 1930s and, according to city officials,&nbsp;needs to be replaced.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff is delivering $1,500,000&nbsp;for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on&nbsp;January&nbsp;23.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBringing Republicans and Democrats together, I\u2019m delivering new resources to upgrade water infrastructure for families in Millen,&#8221;&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cI will continue working to secure upgrades for Georgia\u2019s infrastructure to keep communities safe and upgrade quality of life.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful to Senator Ossoff for securing this congressional direct spending funding.
