Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to&nbsp;help upgrade&nbsp;technology used to support domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the funding,&nbsp;LiveSafe&nbsp;Resources&nbsp;(LSR), a&nbsp;Cobb County nonprofit, will&nbsp;upgrade their computer security and equipment to&nbsp;strengthen&nbsp;services&nbsp;to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff is delivering $116,000&nbsp;for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on&nbsp;January&nbsp;23.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe State of Georgia needs more resources to help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault,\u201d<strong>&nbsp;Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThat&#8217;s why I am delivering new resources to upgrade technological equipment needed to support survivors of these crimes in our state.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese critical funds will support every program that&nbsp;LiveSafe&nbsp;Resources provides as well as the daily operations of the agency. As the state certified Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault program for our community, these services include everything from shelter and housing programs to forensic medical exams and counseling,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said&nbsp;Lisa Mello, CEO of&nbsp;LiveSafe&nbsp;Resources.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cAll our programs rely on upgraded IT infrastructure to deliver the highest-level of 24\/7 care that we provide to survivors and their loved ones.&nbsp;&nbsp;Without Sen.
