Georgians can share their stories about privatized military housing conditions at <\/em>ossoff.senate.gov\/militaryhousing<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington, D.C. <\/strong>\u2014 In 2022, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff\u2019s bipartisan investigation uncovered the mistreatment of military families living in privatized housing on Ft. Eisenhower. Now, Sen. Ossoff wants to hear from more Georgia military families about conditions of their military housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sen. Ossoff is seeking to hear directly from Georgia military families about the condition of privatized housing on defense installations across the State of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, local reporting<\/a> found Georgia military families have continued to raise concerns about privatized military housing conditions on installations across the State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to fight for you and hold these companies accountable if they\u2019re letting you down,\u201dSen. Ossoff said in the PSA.<\/strong> \u201cYou make huge sacrifices in defense of our nation, and you shouldn’t have to sacrifice a safe, clean, healthy home for you and your family or the quality of customer service and tenants\u2019 service that you deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, Sen. Ossoff led an 8-month bipartisan investigation that uncovered<\/a> mistreatment and neglect of families living in privatized military housing on post at Ft. Eisenhower. As a direct result of Sen. Ossoff\u2019s investigation, the U.S. Army then conducted unit-by-unit inspections of housing on military installations, starting at Ft. Eisenhower<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, Sen. Ossoff then convened<\/a> a military housing oversight session to continue his work to improve housing conditions for military families in Georgia and across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
