Ossoff, alongside several synagogues and Jewish organizations across Atlanta, are &#8220;adopting&#8221; Evyatar&#8217;s case to spread the word and advocate for his immediate release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Evyatar David was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, while attending the Nova Music Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff, Ilay,&nbsp;and members of the Atlanta Jewish community&nbsp;discussed the urgent need to secure Evyatar\u2019s release, along with all of the remaining hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff highlighted his continued engagement through the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee in support of U.S. intelligence and diplomatic efforts to secure the release of those in the captivity of Hamas terrorists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Evyatar is 24-years-old. He loves playing guitar, he loves his family, he loves life. Today is his 580th day in a dungeon under Gaza. The time is now to bring him and all those held hostage home. Free Evyatar,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy baby brother Evyatar is in a struggle to survive. This is not a time for political divisions, but a time to bring all people of good conscience together for Evyatar and all of the remaining hostages to be released out of Gaza.
