Warnock Announce Application Process for Impending Vacancies on U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and U.S. Attorneys for Georgia\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Washington, D.C.<\/strong> \u2014 U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock today announced the application process for the impending vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and vacancies for U.S. Attorneys for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January, U.S. attorneys for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia of Georgia announced their resignations. This month, Chief U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten Sr.\u202fof the Northern District of Georgia announced he would take senior status in May.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To fill the vacancies, Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock will jointly accept applications for the position before the Senators make their final recommendations to President Trump.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications for the U.S. District Court Judge position can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/oampublic.senate.gov\/constituent\/login\/d8ec222c-0a83-418f-a68a-d8e026059772\/\" target=\"_blank\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>. Applications for the U.S. Attorneys positions can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/oampublic.senate.gov\/constituent\/login\/01d8fda5-9f94-411a-8634-8b7811a50de5\/\" target=\"_blank\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.
