Warnock expressed alarm over the Corps\u2019 failure to dredge the Brunswick Harbor in a timely manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Corps\u2019 failure to execute a basic mission with ample funding provided by Congress raises serious concerns about the Corps\u2019 ability to effectively execute such projects in future years,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>the Senators wrote.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Port of Brunswick is a key driver of Georgia\u2019s economy, supporting thousands of jobs, and it is<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/georgia-ports-automobiles-brunswick-47bd7e5cffa13c62a1606ee7385b583b#:~:text=Lynch%20predicted%20last%20October%20that,for%20more%20than%20a%20decade.\">poised to become<\/a>&nbsp;the largest automotive port in the near future, according to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Port of Brunswick is vital to Georgia\u2019s economic growth and is poised to become the Nation\u2019s busiest automotive port in the near future,\u201d<strong>&nbsp;the Senators wrote.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThe sustained success and future expansion of port operations relies on timely and effective dredging of the harbor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock continue working to support the growth of the Georgia\u2019s ports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/news-sens-ossoff-rev-warnock-delivering-bipartisan-infrastructure-law-funding-to-port-of-brunswick\/\">delivered<\/a>&nbsp;$15 million through the U.S. Department of Transportation to help upgrade infrastructure at the Port of Brunswick \u2014 improving operations, creating economic opportunities, and strengthening Georgia\u2019s supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, Sens.
