Ossoff\u2019s Bill to Strengthen National Security at Robins AFB Becomes Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Warner Robins, Ga.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014 For the second year in a row, U.S Senator Jon Ossoff has passed legislation into law to upgrade national security facilities at Robins Air Force Base (AFB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, Sen. Ossoff\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Robins Facilities Enhancement Act<\/em>&nbsp;became law to authorize next steps of construction for the new Battle Management Complex at Robins AFB that will house secure communications networks and allow commanders to communicate with servicemembers in the field faster and more efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Robins Facilities Enhancement Act<\/em>&nbsp;passed Congress as part of this year\u2019s&nbsp;<em>National Defense Authorization Act<\/em>&nbsp;and was signed into law yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2024, Sen. Ossoff&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoffs-bill-to-build-a-new-battle-management-complex-at-robins-air-force-base-becomes-law\/\">passed into law<\/a>&nbsp;his&nbsp;<em>Robins Air Force Base Battle Management Enhancement Act<\/em>&nbsp;through the FY24&nbsp;<em>National Defense Authorization Act<\/em>, which authorized the first step in construction of the Battle Management Combined Operations Complex. Then this past April, Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-delivering-funding-for-robins-afb-national-security-upgrades\/\">deliver<\/a>&nbsp;$50 million for the new Battle Management Combined Operations Complex at Robins AFB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe team protecting our nation at&nbsp;Robins&nbsp;Air Force Base needs continued support for their heroic efforts,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Sen. Ossoff.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cThat is why I introduced and have now passed into law this legislation to continue upgrading facilities at&nbsp;Robins&nbsp;Air Force Base.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff continues working to improve conditions and facilities for Georgia\u2019s servicemembers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, Sens.
