Ossoff\u2019s Bipartisan Bill to Strengthen Resources for Georgians with Disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Legislation Heads to President\u2019s Desk to Become Law<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Washington, D.C. \u2014<\/strong>&nbsp;The U.S. Senate has passed U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff\u2019s bipartisan bill to expand critical resources for Georgians living with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill previously passed the U.S. House of Representatives and now heads to President Biden\u2019s desk to be signed into law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Think Differently Database Act<\/em>, which he&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-introduces-bipartisan-bill-to-strengthen-resources-for-georgians-with-disabilities\/\">introduced<\/a>&nbsp;alongside Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO), will direct the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to build a comprehensive website that provides information and resources available to Georgians with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill will help ensure that individuals with disabilities and their caregivers can find the services and support available in their state to live, learn, participate, and thrive in their communities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWorking alongside Senator Schmitt, we brought Republicans and Democrats together to help Georgia families and\u00a0<a>families<\/a>\u00a0nationwide identify and access resources for people with disabilities,\u201d\u00a0<strong>said Sen. Ossoff.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff continues working to support Georgians with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the summer, Sen. Ossoff launched a bipartisan push to pass the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-pushing-to-strengthen-support-for-georgians-with-disabilities\/\"><em>Ensuring Nationwide Access to a Better Life Experience (ENABLE) Act<\/em><\/a><em>&nbsp;<\/em>to extend tax benefits for people with disabilities and help them save for future expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January, Sen.
