Ossoff helped advance Johnson\u2019s nomination through the Senate Judiciary Committee in November<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Washington, D.C.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock\u2019s nominee, Tiffany Rene Johnson, for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July, President Joe Biden accepted Sens. Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock\u2019s recommendation and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2024\/07\/31\/president-biden-names-fifty-third-round-of-judicial-nominees\/\">nominated<\/a>&nbsp;Tiffany Rene Johnson to serve as a Judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am pleased that the Senate has confirmed Tiffany Rene Johnson for this key Federal judgeship. I am confident that Ms. Johnson will perform her duties with impartiality and professionalism, guided by commitments to truth, integrity, and justice, and I congratulate Ms. Johnson and her family on this historic day,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Johnson has been an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the Northern District of Georgia since 2017. She served in the office\u2019s Civil Division until 2020, when she transferred to its Criminal Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2012 to 2017, Ms. Johnson worked as a litigation associate at the Atlanta law firm of Parker, Hudson, Rainer &amp; Dobbs, LLP.
