Ossoff is launching a push to pass the bipartisan&nbsp;<em>Rural Veterinary Workforce Act<\/em>&nbsp;to help address the veterinary shortage across Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bipartisan bill would eliminate the income withholding tax on each individual Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP) award, which would allow the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to increase the number of awards made to Georgia veterinarians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGeorgia communities depend on access to veterinary care \u2014 especially our farmers and ranchers. That\u2019s why I am working with Republicans and Democrats to pass the bipartisan&nbsp;<em>Rural Veterinary Workforce Act<\/em>&nbsp;to strengthen Georgia\u2019s veterinary workforce,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bipartisan bill was first introduced last year by Senators Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Mike Crapo (R-ID).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff continues working to strengthen Georgia\u2019s veterinary workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April, Sen.
