Ossoff introduced&nbsp;legislation&nbsp;to authorize construction of a new consolidated communication facility at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, Sen. Ossoff&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-delivering-resources-to-advance-new-communications-facility-project-for-marine-corps-logistics-base-albany\/\">delivered funding<\/a>&nbsp;through the bipartisan government funding package for the project. Now, he is introducing the&nbsp;<em>MCLB Albany Innovation Act&nbsp;<\/em>to authorize the next step in construction for the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new facility will support the Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM)\u2019s innovation efforts within the realm of robotics and industrial technology, consolidating all data centers into one facility supporting all tenant hosting requirements and related controls, increasing IT\u2019s capacity to Production Plant Albany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m working to upgrade Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany\u2019s communications facilities to strengthen national security and support this vital Georgia installation,\u201d\u00a0<strong>Sen.
