Ossoff introduced&nbsp;legislation&nbsp;to authorize the next steps of construction for the new Battle Management Complex at Robins AFB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff is introducing the&nbsp;<em>Robins Facilities Enhancement Act<\/em>&nbsp;as the next step needed for construction of the new<em>&nbsp;<\/em>consolidated facility that will house secure communications networks and allow commanders to communicate with servicemembers in the field faster and more efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April, Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-delivering-funding-for-robins-afb-national-security-upgrades\/\">deliver<\/a>&nbsp;$50 million for the new Battle Management Combined Operations Complex at Robins AFB through this year\u2019s bipartisan government funding package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe team protecting our nation at&nbsp;Robins&nbsp;Air Force Base needs continued support for their heroic efforts,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Sen. Ossoff.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cThat is why I\u2019m introducing this new legislation to upgrade facilities at&nbsp;Robins&nbsp;Air Force Base.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff continues working to improve conditions and facilities for Georgia\u2019s servicemembers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December, Sen. Ossoff&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-delivering-funding-for-robins-afb-national-security-upgrades\/\">passed into law<\/a>&nbsp;his&nbsp;<em>Robins Air Force Base Battle Management Enhancement Act<\/em>through the FY24&nbsp;<em>National Defense Authorization Act<\/em>, which authorized the first step in construction of a Battle Management Combined Operations Complex at Robins AFB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, Sens.
