Ossoff is launching a push to pass the&nbsp;<em>Billie Jean King Congressional Gold Medal Act<\/em>, bipartisan legislation he co-sponsored to award a Congressional Gold Medal to Billie Jean King.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bipartisan bill was introduced by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) and is endorsed by the United States Tennis Association (USTA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBillie Jean King is a trailblazer for women\u2019s athletics and for equal rights. Her decades of leadership and tenacity blazed a path for equal rights in sport and in our society. It\u2019s only fitting we bestow upon her a Congressional Gold Medal in recognition of her lifetime of work on behalf of women, the LGBTQ community, and athletes around the world,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen.
