Marietta, Ga. \u2014<\/strong> U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is encouraging Georgia students and families to RSVP for this year\u2019s Georgia Service Academy Day on Saturday, April 27, at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sen. Ossoff and Georgia\u2019s Congressional Delegation invite Georgia high school students and their families to learn more about the application and Congressional nomination process for the 5 U.S. Service Academies \u2014 U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAcademy Day at Dobbins Air Reserve Base is a unique opportunity for young people and families in Georgia to learn about the opportunities that are available to study at America’s military academies and to pursue careers as officers in the armed forces, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marine,\u201d Sen. Ossoff said in the PSA.<\/strong> \u201cI encourage all interested young people and families with high school students who are considering careers in the military, come on out to Dobbins, hear directly from recent alumni, hear directly from military leaders. My goal is to make this process of considering and applying for the opportunity to study at a military academy as seamless and comfortable as possible for every interested Georgian.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
