Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock\u2019s law extends the authorization needed to ensure completion of a new forensic laboratory at the Gillem Enclave. Their&nbsp;<em>Fort Gillem Defense Forensics Enhancement Act of 2023&nbsp;<\/em>was signed into law as part of the National Defense Authorization Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forensic Exploitation Directorate (FXD) provides global forensic capability in support of the full range of military operations and counterterrorism efforts. The Directorate deploys teams around the world to provide commanders with a forensic analysis capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSenator Warnock and I introduced and passed the&nbsp;<em>Fort Gillem Defense Forensics Enhancement Act of 2023<\/em>&nbsp;to ensure the Army has the authorities necessary to build a world-class laboratory facility for the men and women who are testing and evaluating evidence recovered all over the world vital to our national security,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBy investing in these facilities at Ft. Gillem, we are strengthening our national security,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Senator Reverend Warnock.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cAs the proud son of a veteran and voice in the Senate for Georgia\u2019s military communities, I am proud to work alongside Senator Ossoff to support Georgia\u2019s servicemembers and military institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff continues to ensure Georgia\u2019s military installations have the resources they need to ensure military readiness and strengthen our national security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the last two years, Sen. Ossoff has also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qFlpPqypNaM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">led several bipartisan investigations into the mistreatment and neglect of military families<\/a>&nbsp;living in privatized housing on Ft.
