Ossoff on Moody AFB Being Selected to Host New F-35A Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Moody AFB, Ga.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff released the following statement on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.af.mil\/News\/Article-Display\/Article\/3439650\/moody-afb-selected-to-host-next-f-35a-mission\/\">Moody Air Force Base being selected<\/a>&nbsp;to host the next F-35A mission.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a major step forward in our ongoing effort to strengthen and sustain Moody Air Force Base for decades to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMoody is a critical national security asset and a vital job creator for South Georgia. The men and women who serve at Moody are among the finest in our Armed Forces.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI will continue to champion Moody AFB and its future as a home for U.S. Air Force tactical aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI thank Air Force leadership for their work with my office and the Moody community toward this important decision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department of the Air Force will now conduct an environmental impact analysis, which is expected to be completed in fall 2025, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.af.mil\/News\/Article-Display\/Article\/3439650\/moody-afb-selected-to-host-next-f-35a-mission\/\">Air Force said<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff has relentlessly championed Moody AFB. Since being elected, Sen.
