Ossoff and Warnock secured bipartisan support in Congress to help the city implement Phase 1 of its wastewater master plan to address structural challenges worsened by Hurricane Michael in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local residents and officials, stormwater is currently infiltrating the city\u2019s wastewater system \u2014 causing water to overflow. The project aims to replace the system\u2019s mechanics, pipes, and structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSenator Warnock and I are delivering wastewater infrastructure upgrades to Thomasville to prevent floods that pose a health safety risk to Georgians,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen.
