Ossoff on Scott Slade\u2019s induction<\/em><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Atlanta, Ga.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014 U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is recognizing WSB Radio\u2019s Scott Slade with an Official U.S. Senate Commendation on his induction into the Georgia Association of Broadcasters\u2019 Hall of Fame today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scott Slade began his storied career at WSB Radio in 1984 on an overnight music show. In 1991, he took over as host of \u201cAtlanta\u2019s Morning News,\u201d becoming the longest-running host in the Atlanta market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month, Slade announced he would step aside from daily hosting duties \u2014 ending his tremendous run \u2014 though Scott will remain involved at WSB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cScott Slade and Scott\u2019s voice have been a mainstay of broadcast journalism in Georgia for decades,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cWe are all grateful to Scott Slade for his work informing the public, asking tough questions of leaders, and bringing a smile to our faces. Thank you, Scott.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tonight, Slade will formally be inducted into the Georgia Association of Broadcasters\u2019 Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Please find Sen.
