Ossoff has led months-long bipartisan investigations into the mistreatment of military families in privatized housing and corruption, abuse, and misconduct in U.S. detention facilities and prisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Chairman of the Human Rights Subcommittee, Sen. Ossoff, in collaboration with Ranking Member Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), will continue his vigorous investigative oversight to protect the human rights of all Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI look forward to working alongside Senator Blackburn to investigate abuse, misconduct, and malpractice that hurts my constituents in Georgia and Americans nationwide,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Chairman Ossoff said<\/strong>. \u201cI take my obligation to conduct effective Congressional oversight seriously and will continue pursuing the truth on behalf of Georgians and all Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere is work to be done domestically and internationally to put an end to human and sex trafficking and to support freedom fighters abroad.
