Jon Ossoff Honors Muscogee County Sheriff Deputy Greg Countryman Jr.\u2019s Heroism<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMr. President, I rise to honor Muscogee County Sheriff Deputy Greg Countryman, Jr. for his heroic and live-saving service to the Chattahoochee River Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn May 16, 2022, emergency personnel received a harrowing call about two children who were unconscious and not breathing after being pulled from a swimming pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlready on the way home from his shift, Deputy Countryman quickly sprang into action and was the first to arrive on the scene. He swiftly administered CPR and successfully helped resuscitate the children until EMS arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDeputy Countryman\u2019s swift response saved their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMr. President, as Georgia\u2019s U.S. Senator, it is my honor to commend Muscogee County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy Greg Countryman, Jr. for his heroism and service to the Chattahoochee River Valley community.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
