Ossoff voted in the U.S. Senate Rules Committee to advance the bipartisan&nbsp;<em>Electoral College Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act<\/em>, which would prevent partisan attempts to manipulate the counting of electoral votes for Presidential elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill passed out of Committee on a bipartisan basis, 14-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVoting rights are fundamental. It is vital that every eligible vote be counted, and the will of the people be upheld,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThis bipartisan bill aims to protect our democracy from partisan attempts to manipulate the counting of electoral votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff continues to lead on voting rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff\u2019s leading legislation, the&nbsp;<em>Right to Vote Act<\/em>, would&nbsp;create a first-ever affirmative Federal voting&nbsp;rights guarantee for all U.S. citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has also introduced legislation to protect voters\u2019 access to water at polling places and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=E2F4wakA39g\">passionately spoke on the Senate floor<\/a>&nbsp;urging his colleagues to pass the&nbsp;<em>John R.
