Ossoff secured $3.5 million for Augusta University to replace two of their three MRI machines, increasing their capacity by an additional 2,000 scans per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding passed both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis will ensure that every single person in the Augusta area will have access to the MRI imaging and health care that they need,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs Georgia\u2019s only public academic medical center, Augusta University Medical Center is grateful to Sen. Ossoff for his support of funding for two MRIs,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said AU Health System CEO Katrina Keefer.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cWith Sen.
