Washington, D.C. <\/strong>\u2013\u2013 U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff secured $35 million in funding to support rural businesses across Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funding, coming in the form of grants and loans through the United States Department of Agriculture, will help expand resources in rural communities through job training, business expansion, and technical assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSenator Warnock and I will continue supporting Georgia\u2019s rural businesses to recover from the pandemic,\u201d Sen. Ossoff said<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe power of Georgia is in our rural communities. That\u2019s why I\u2019m pleased to see millions of federal dollars coming to rural businesses in every corner of the state to not only help businesses recover from the pandemic, but grow and thrive in our changing economy,\u201d said Sen. Rev. Warnock.<\/strong> \u201cAs a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, I\u2019ll continue to listen to Georgia farmers and small business owners to ensure rural businesses have the federal support they need to stay competitive, including financial support, transportation infrastructure, and broadband connection.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
