Ossoff co-sponsored the bill and voted to pass it out of the Senate Judiciary Committee last year<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Washington, D.C.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is working to help Americans who have been targeted by workplace sexual assault and harassment secure justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is calling on Congress to pass bipartisan legislation he co-sponsored that&nbsp;would end&nbsp;forced arbitration for survivors of sexual assault and harassment and give them the chance to bring their case to court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m championing this bill to ensure Georgians aren\u2019t prevented by their employment contracts from seeking justice for workplace sexual assault and harassment,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Sen. Ossoff said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/02\/07\/us\/politics\/house-bill-forced-arbitration.html\"><em>The New York Times<\/em><\/a>,&nbsp;<em>\u201cmore than 60 million American workers are subject to forced arbitration clauses in their employment contracts \u2014 often through fine print tucked into legal clauses of which the employees are unaware.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen.
