Ossoff is working to pass the bipartisan&nbsp;<em>REACH for Veterans Act<\/em>&nbsp;to improve the Veterans Crisis Line, a 24\/7 suicide prevention hotline for military veterans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill would ensure staff are trained and the right processes are in place to respond to veteran callers at high risk of suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll veterans deserve responsive and qualified mental health services, especially during a crisis. I will continue working with Democratic and Republican colleagues to improve the Veterans Crisis Line,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Sen. Ossoff.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff is also working to pass legislation to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-pushing-legislation-to-reduce-veteran-homelessness\/\">reduce<\/a>&nbsp;veteran homelessness and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ossoff.senate.gov\/es\/press-releases\/sen-ossoff-working-to-deliver-combat-disabled-veterans-the-pay-they-deserve\/\">deliver<\/a>&nbsp;combat-disabled veterans the pay they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Veterans Crisis Line offers free, confidential support to veterans 24 hours\/day, 7 days\/week, 365 days\/year.
