Ossoff-Backed Provision to Deliver Affordable Health Coverage for Hundreds of Thousands of Georgians"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Washington, D.C. \u2014&nbsp;<\/strong>Hundreds of thousands of low-income Georgians are one step closer to gaining affordable health coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. House of Representatives this morning passed an Ossoff-backed provision to deliver affordable health coverage for hundreds of thousands of Georgians who currently cannot afford it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sen. Ossoff,&nbsp;alongside Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, last month successfully negotiated the inclusion of affordable health coverage for hundreds of thousands of low-income Georgians in the&nbsp;<em>Build Back Better Act<\/em>.<em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The provision will close the coverage gap by providing access to affordable health care for low-income Georgians and those nationwide whose states have refused to expand Medicaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sens. Ossoff and Rev.
