Ossoff met with the leaders of Hyundai Motor Group, Kia Corporation, and SK Group to urge further economic investments in Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, Sen. Ossoff&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/politics\/politics-blog\/how-bitter-korean-rivals-settled-a-rift-that-threatened-georgia-battery-plant\/B7J76F3Q7NGJ5EUXVCMY2P2LOA\/\">negotiated<\/a>&nbsp;a settlement to a trade dispute between LG and SK that threatened the $2.6 billion SK Innovation electric vehicle battery plant in Commerce, Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hyundai Motor Group is a partial owner of Kia, which operates the Kia Georgia manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia.
